ZeroClick2
Doubleclick is one of the biggest offenders for putting spyware on your system, but now you can make doubleclick blind as far as your PC is concerned.
Zeroclick2 is a small, simple, free program for users of Windows95, 98, NT and 2000 which allows you to "disconnect doubleclick
from the internet" and this in turn prevents their banner ads, their cookies and their tracking of your activities. Zeroclick2 works by
causing all referrals to doubleclick from any site to be blocked at your own computer. Zeroclick2 works only with the standard
Microsoft winsock for dialup networking, DSL, ISDN and cable modems and does not work with other winsock programs such as
AOL(Compuserve), Trumpet Winsock or Twinsock. ZeroClick2 adds new functionality to allow you to choose to block other sites
as well.

you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by
overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.
The patterns used for overwriting are based on Peter Gutmann's
paper "Secure Deletion of Data from Magnetic and Solid-State
Memory" and they are selected to effectively remove magnetic

ScramDisk
Free disk encryption software. Safeguard all your personal data.
Scramdisk is a program that allows the creation and use of virtual encrypted drives. Basically, you create a
container file on an existing hard drive which is created with a specific password. This container can then be
mounted by the Scramdisk software which creates a new drive letter to represent the drive. The virtual drive
can then only be accessed with the correct passphrase. Without the correct passphrase the files on the
virtual drive are totally inaccessible.
Once the passphrase has been entered correctly and the drive is mounted the new virtual drive can then be
used as a normal drive, files can be saved and retrieved to the drive and you can even install applications
onto the encrypted drive.
